Recently, we visited a hidden beach resort in Lobo, Batangas.
The name of the place was Lawas Seaside Resort. The beach was really peaceful and relaxing and its only 4 hours away if you're living in Metro Manila.
Though the beach doesn't really have the white sand like in Boracay, its still worth a visit.
We arrived at resort at around 10am. Entrance fee is 100php.
The owner of the resort, Mang Alvin, was really kind and accommodating. We rented a tent at 500php.

Bus from Cubao to SM Lipa Terminal - 132 pesos
Van going to Lobo, Batangas (Bayan) - 120 pesos
Tricycle going to Lawas Seaside Resort - 70 pesos
Entrance fee - 100 pesos
Tent Rental - 500 pesos
Cooking equipment /stove rental - 200 pesos
Total: 1172 pesos / one-way
You can save if you bring your own tent.
